Victor Ruiz Masterclass Full Course [TUTORIAL]
Learn production techniques and secrets from the techno hitmaker Victor Ruiz. The Masterclass is a course for those who already have a basic knowledge in production. This course is taught using Logic Pro.
DRUMS MODULE
The drums are the foundation to any techno track, therefore is one of the most important parts in the production process. Here I’ll show you how I make my own drum section including kicks, hihats, percussions, claps, grooves and a chapter focused on mixing the drums. Together with the DRUMS module you’ll get an exclusive sample pack created by me, with a total of 160 drum parts.
BASSLINE MODULE
This is one of the most exciting modules in my opinion. If you know my sound, you know I love bass lines. Throughout these classes I’m going to show you how to create from scratch different types of bass sounds that I often use in my own tracks, how to combine them giving melody examples and some precious tricks to make your bass line sounds BIG! Together with the BASS LINE module you’ll get some of my exclusive bass sounds presets, a template of the class on Logic Pro X and MIDI files of the melodies from this module.
SYNTHS MODULE
My music is often recognized by the big synths in it, and synths are something that I love. In this module I’m going to show you how to create, craft and combine your synths to have a full spectrum in your track. Through simple, yet effective techniques, we’re going to dive deep in the world of textures. Together with the SYNTHS module, you’ll get some of my exclusive synth presets, a template on Logic Pro X and MIDI files of the melodies on this module.
ARRANGEMENT & MIX MODULE
Like telling a story, arranging a track is also a journey. To build a sonic timeline can be challenging, especially when it comes to put all the sounds together in a mix. That’s why I created this module! I decided to put arrangement and mix together, because it’s actually how I make my tracks. As I add new elements and arrange, I am already mixing. Here, you’ll learn the way I mix and arrange in a fun and simple way. I’ll write a track from start to finish, so then you can improve your storytelling. Together with the ARRANGEMENT & MIX modules, you’ll get the Logic Pro X file from the finished track.
EDITS MODULE
I love to make edits of my favourite tracks. It’s my way to pay tribute to artists and bands that inspired me and the music I make. This is when I have most fun ever and that’s why I make so many edits. I’m going to show you how I choose a track that I really like (which is already finished), put it into the right tempo, select, cut, sample and edit the best parts of it and then create my own version of the original song. Together with the EDITS modules, you’ll get a FX sample pack created by me.
